One of the standout features of the Surly Nice Rack Front is its height adjustability, allowing for both low and high pannier mounting positions. Surly has improved the rack’s hardware, making it easier to attach and more compatible with disc calipers and fenders. Special attachment plates are available for Surly’s Uni-Crown forks, enhancing compatibility. This streamlined design reduces complexity and cost, making the Surly Nice Rack Front an affordable option.
The Surly Nice Rack Front is compatible with disc brakes on Surly’s Troll, Ogre, and Disc Trucker frames. While some adjustment may be needed to clear the front caliper, the new attachment plates simplify the process. If necessary, adding a washer or two behind the lower left bolt is a straightforward solution.
