The cutting action is divided into an initial cut for the insulating sheath and a final cut for the conductor ensuring efficiency and precision. Additionally the cutters include a pinch guard to protect fingers an adjustable bolted joint and are made from high-grade special tool steel that is forged and oil-hardened for durability.
