The 440C stainless steel used in the Enduro Bearings B 543 LLB SS – Stainless Steel offers the highest strength, hardness, and wear resistance among the 440-series alloys. It undergoes multiple heat and cryogenic treatments to achieve these superior properties. While it has 20% less load capacity compared to 52100 chromium steel, it remains a great choice for wet environments, frequent bike washing, or areas prone to sweat.
These bearings feature LLB type seals and are packed with CRC Marine Grease, providing additional protection against water and other elements. The Enduro line starts with chromium steel and progresses to full 440C stainless steel, ensuring maximum protection with large balls and dual lip seals in a micro groove. They are filled 90% with high-pressure waterproof grease, so you can be confident they are well-lubricated.
