Given their mountain biking roots it’s no surprise that Evil steered away from a road bike with fat tyres and instead created a bike with modern MTB features for the ultimate gravel bike.
A slack head angle gives much greater performance off road. It makes you more stable, more confident and faster, especially downhill. So too does the short 50mm stem for agile handling that is less twitchy than any of the competition.
The bike is designed to take a dropper post. Every mountain bike out there has one, if you’re not a mountain biker then you’ll quickly discover why they are now commonplace.
