The MTN30 is a trail/all-mountain bike wheelsetbuilt-up using a FusionFibre rim and Chris King hub.
This combination of Chris King hub and CSS Composites rim offers a superior quality, high performance wheel ready togobble up the trail milesas well as featuringthe added bonus of FusionFiber being a recyclable material.
The ride on these wheels is described as more comfortable than carbon due to an inherent elasticity in the FusionFiber material while maintaining high directional stability for confident cornering.
The wheels are hand built in-house at Chris King and as you would expect, are covered by Chris King’s fantastic lifetime warranty.
FusionFiber Rims –
FusionFiber, a material pioneered by CSS Composites, is a thermoplastic alternative to carbon fibre. It can be made into new products to prevent rims from ending up in landfill, is highly tuneable, and is more flexible than traditional thermo resin fibres, leading to better cornering and stability at speed.
Chris King Hubs –
Renown throughout the cycling industry a Chris King hub is among the very best you can buy. Super efficient 72 points of simultaneous engagement to ensures you get the power down and built up using Chris Kings own high quality stainless steel bearings for consistent, smooth, reliable riding. A Chris King hub will last years and years with the recommended servicing and also features the famous ‘angry bee’ hub sound.
