Mondraker’s Chrono takes the design philosophy of their race winning XC bike, the Podium, and makes some tweaks to relax the geometry, add some convenience features and up the comfort level. Still very much a rapid XC bike the Chrono’s less aggressive frame platform means the Chrono will be more fun on trail rides or long distances when compared to the full-speed Podium. The DC model bumps front travel up to 120mm from the standard Chrono’s 100mm as well as fitting chunkier 2.4″ tyres, these changestailor the DCfor rougher terrains.

The carbon fibre layup of thestealth carbon frame absorbs trail vibration and significantly reduces rider fatigue, while its feather weight keeps it super agile. Complementing that optimized frame are components such as aFox 32 fork, Mavic Crossmax wheels, SRAM SX/NX/GX mix Eagle drivetrain and ONOFF components.
