With North Wave Clear, windsurfing has transformed in ways you could never have imagined. You can surf as hard as you want to push it because low swing weight gives you optimum precision because there are no seams and stitching. All of them were molded into a single piece using premium Dyneema Aramid Fibers, giving you a highly robust sail that will last for many years in your quiver.
This sail is intended for the most extreme wave sailors to use in the most extreme situations when charging down the line. A wave sail unlike any other on the market today, which is the focus of this products most cutting-edge technology, exclusively from North Sails.
The North Wave Clear has a small outline for low swing weight during maneuvers, with a significantly shorter luff length. The wave’s profile is forward-facing and modest enough to allow the sail to power up while still being energetic, agile, and fun. For a highly smooth and lightning-fast changeover between power-on and power-off, use 3 battens in 4.7 and smaller and 4 battens in 5.3 to 5.8.
The 3Di Molded Construction provides more excellent wind range, stability, and reactivity with fewer battens and reduced weight. The 3Di sails are substantially more robust and lighter. North Windsurfing is the only sailmaker using ultralight unidirectional filament tapes to construct sails from materials in their simplest, elemental form.
