The 2022 Core Carved Imperator 7 kiteboard uses a new-generation carbon called Cartan 2, an ultra-low resin yet high-performance carbon fiber. It fuses unidirectional and untwisted carbon fiber strands with minimal epoxy binders to create an ultra-thin, 30-degree scrim that is an exact match with the board size. This even distribution creates a composite laminate that is lighter and more uniform microstructure compared with traditional woven-fabric pre-pregs. This unique construction gives the 2022 Core Carved Imperator 7 excellent agility, power, and 100g weight reduction.
For the 2022 Carved Imperator, Core showcased its 20 years of kiteboard expertise by featuring a 3D Paulownia wood core with cutting-edge Cartan 2 carbon fiber. This results in buttery smooth carves, unrivaled torsional stability, and excellent reflexivity even in the choppiest waters. Its hand-finished rails use a drag-reducing, slightly sharper, tucked under-rail profile.
Available in 8 sizes, the 2022 Core Carved Imperator 7 kiteboard comes with either Carved Ultra Pads or without bindings.
