The eOne-Forty shares exactly the same frame and design features as the headline grabbing eOne-Sixty though has different ride characteristics. The eOne-Forty is the option to go for if fast trail riding with the occasional visit to a bikepark is your mountain biking style of choice.

The new eOne-Forty has a big range in every sense. It’s highly versatile, from the trail to the commute, and the impressive 750Wh battery can be boosted with a 360Wh range extender that’s available separately. The suspension platform and geometry has been influenced by previous generation ebikes and our award-winning trail and enduro range so it has peerless off-road performance and handling that’s confident and capable. The suspension offers 143 mm of rear wheel travel and 150 mm up front. Our simplified AGILOMETER sizing system allows you to choose the handling you want thanks to low standover heights. Choose a longer size for off road stability or go shorter to increase agility.

Merida’s latest range of mountain bikes makes use of a slightly new approach to sizing. Merida encourage riders to consider their riding style when selecting a frame size.

For example the Mid size frame is suitable for riders of heights between 165-185cm. This means a rider of height 175cm could select a Short frame if the preference is agility, Mid for a balanced ride or Long for stability.
