Merida’s eSpresso may just be the perfect commuter/leisure electric bike. Packed with every feature you could need, a fantastic build kit made up of components by cycling’s biggest brands and all built around a frame madeto Merida’s expected high standards.
The eSpresso’s sleek design is incredibly comfortable to ride thanks to the open frame design, upright riding position, suspension seatpost and suspension front fork. The front fork has 63mm of travel, this is enough to take any unpleasant bumps out of your journey though will not be felt when on smooth surfaces.
Driving the eSpresso is the proven reliable Shimano E5000 motor with a E8014 418wh battery. This set-up is good for over 100km range in one charge and provides a smooth, pleasant pedal assist when needed.
Rounding out the spec is an extensive list of incredibly useful features such as front and rear mudguards, rear pannier rack, front and rear Herrmans lights, integrated ABUS frame lock, included pedals and kickstand.
