The Insurgent has evolved from is original form to the versatile beast we see now, buildable as an MX (29″ front/27.5″ rear) wheel bike for a blend of speed and agility or as a full 27.5″ bike for bikepark playfulness. The LS (Lightly Salted) version represents the fully tuned and refined iteration of this supremely awesome trail slayer in a exclusive new colourway.
Designed to berun with either a170mm 29, or 180mm 27.5 forkup front (MX 29″/27.5″ set-up as standard) and Evil’s unique Delta linkage makes for 168mm of smooth, reliable travel on the back. This is Evils biggest travel bike, pedalling is definitely do-able thanks to the superb suspension platform though gravity assisted riding is where the Insurgent truly lets loose.
Geometry is adjustable via flip-chip –Choose LOW mode for everyday trail-slaying geometry, or flip to XLOW mode for a gravity-fed, park eating ride.
Thoughtful quality of life features including and integrated sag meter, rubber sound cancelling chainstay protector, internal cable routing and UDH mech hanger make the Insurgent pleasant to live with.
Build quality is, as expected, exceptional on all Evil frames and as well as a lifetime frame warranty Evil now offer a free set of replacement linkage bearings once per year, for the frames original owner.
Available as standard as an MX wheel bike. 27.5″ front and rear is also possible, please get in contact for details if this is your required set-up.
The bike can be equipped with either the RockShox Super Deluxe coil or the Fox X2 air shock.
