This is the Shimano RT-MT800, a 203mm Center Lock Disc Brake Rotor for use on Shimano-equipped eBikes with an external lockring.

The Deore XT grade RT-MT800 Ice Tech rotors deliver excellent performance, featuring a stainless steel/alloy 3-layer sandwich construction that effectively manages heat while riding. Shimano’s FREEZA technology enhances heat dissipation and reduces fade, with the clad steel/alloy/steel rotor construction allowing heat to radiate quickly through the aluminum core, reducing surface temperatures by around 50C. When used with Ice Tech pads, surface temperatures can drop from about 400C to 300C, significantly improving overall performance.

Ice Tech rotors offer long pad life, less noise, and reduced fade due to improved heat dispersion. They utilize the proven Shimano Center Lock system for excellent rigidity and security with easy setup. The rotor contact surface is designed for superior pad clearing and cooling, enhancing pad performance and life. Additionally, the large forged alloy spider supports the rotor surface, increasing rigidity and reducing weight. The rotor comes complete with an alloy lockring.
