Evil Bikes Insurgent

Born in the Evil Bikes lab to tackle Earths biggest trails all while retaining the playful character expected from an Evil mountain bike, the Insurgent V2 takes the core idea of the V1 and adds new tweaks and options to bring the MTB world one of it’s biggest hitters.

Evil have now given Insurgent riders the option to choose from a 27.5″ wheel bike or a mixed wheel size option. The 27.5″ bike makes for the most agile, bikepark friendly guise whereas the MX option is the choice of riders who want the combination of 29″ wheel traction and speed matched with the playful 27.5″ back-end.

The Insurgents geometry is all about speed and putting a riders weight in the correct position when at high speeds and on steep descents though Evil have made sure to keep the Insurgent as pedal friendly as possible by keeping the seat tube upright, the reach long and a 44mm offset front fork on both 27.5″ and MX options. Geometry can be adjusted via a flip-chip to dial in your ride – Low – 65.3 , X-Low – 64.7 on 27.5″ and Low – 64.2 , X-Low – 63.5 on MX

Rockshox Super Deluxe Coil Ultimate – As standard the Insurgent V2 comes with the fantastic Rockshox Super Deluxe Coil shock. You can expect consistent and reliable suspension feel through the bikes 168mm of travel as well as that smooth small-bump traction that coil shocks are renown for.

Fox X2 – If you require a more tuning options, improved pedalling yet need to retain consistent response and traction on descents the Fox X2 could be a wise upgrade. One of the most popular enduro focussed air shocks on the market and a fantastic match for the Insurgents design.

Push 11.6 – If you want to take your Insurgent build to the highest of heights then this is the shock for you. Truly a masterpiece of engineering a Push 11.6 is hard to describe without simply stating that all who ride on one cannot praise them enough. An exhaustive list of tuning options and possibly the smoothest actuation currently available for a full-suspension mountain bike.
