With the Pirelli Cinturato Velo TLR Classic Tyre, you get a tyre that is perfect for long rides across various terrains. The Armour Tech construction, which is patent pending, integrates multiple layers to enhance the 60 TPI Nylon casing. This includes a high-density Nylon layer that runs from bead to bead, offering cut protection and improved stability at low pressures. It also ensures the tyre remains airtight when used with liquid sealant.
Underneath the tread, a high-density waved aramid fibre breaker belt provides additional protection against punctures and sharp objects. The SmartNET Silica compound features aramid fibres in two layers: an outer cap for performance in dry and wet conditions, and an inner base that slows down the penetration of foreign objects.
