The cold forged aluminium body is both supremely light and incredibly hard wearing – this is not delicate ‘one race’ bit of kit. A carbon front plate and alloy back make the Shimano XTR M9100 12-Speed Rear Derailleur’ cage light, stiff and durable. Designed to work with the new ‘Rhythm’ XTR double chainset, the Shimano XTR M9120 is ready to offer the widest gear range of any MTB rear mech anywhere. The new 10 tooth upper jockey wheel reduces noise, with a rubber anti-chain buzz cushion making the mech quieter still. Meanwhile the big 13 tooth lower jockey wheel, with fully sealed bearings, makes the jump from 10 all the way up to 45 teeth completely trouble free.
