The use of strategically placed Eco+Light padding, center channel for increased blood flow, and beautifully contoured wings, the GT Series saddle will inspire you to go beyond the finish line of your next goal.
The GT it is our neutral/medium position saddle. It is for those who have their favorite riding position and love to stick to it for long periods of time. Its shape is made for riders with moderate pelvic rotation while pedaling.
Leather is better. And synthetic leather that performs as well as real leather, but without the extreme environmental impact is EVEN BETTER. It is at Smanies core to always be pushing the limits as to what we can do to make our saddles more environmentally friendly. Our seamless microfiber cover will have you swear you are riding a leather cover, giving you the best of both worlds.
A 3mm deep channel, in the perennial region, provides relief yet, it isnt deep enough that it causes a harsh transition or hotspots on its edges. The neutral profile of the saddle and 3mm deep channel helps to fight numbness and pressure.
Fight the fad! The trend in the industry is short saddles, however, that eliminates multiple riding positions. You wouldnt bring flat bars to a road race, just like you wouldnt want to eliminate the ability to move forwards and backward on the saddle depending on the riding situation.
Athermic Insulation: We use padding that is heat resistant to allow for a more comfortable ride during those long days in the saddle.
