With TSE, the Zipp 858 NSW Carbon Disc Brake Front Wheel features a tubeless and hookless rim profile for seamless tyre interface and huge drop in weight. The 858 gives you the benefits of our deep rims at weight typically associated with rims that are 20mm shallower. The wheels internal width is 23mm, ideal for running wider tyres with lower pressures for decreased rolling resistance. Thats how TSE technology helps you conquer the four barriers to speed: Wind Resistance, Gravity, Rolling Resistance, and Vibration Losses.
The 858 NSWs undulating 82mm-85mm deep rim shape, our patented Sawtooth profile, is our highest performing design for aero efficiency and crosswind stability. The result is the pure speed, especially for triathletes, time trial specialist, and any other speed freak. Whats more, while this wheelset is optimized for tubeless tyres, you still have the option to run tubeless ready tyres with tubes.
The 858 NSW is fastest with a 28mm tyre. In triathlon, running wider tubeless tyres at lower pressure makes you faster while also smoothing out the ride so your body is fresher for the run. Disc brakes also offer more reliable speed modulation and braking power in all weather conditions. The 858 NSW features the premium ZR1 SL hubset with ceramic bearings and 66 points of engagement.
